Anyone else having a basket full of flipflops for their guests with aching feet? I’ve seen it on Pinterest and think it’s the best idea (I’ve never been to a dressy function where I haven’t needed to take off my heels and spend most of the night barefoot). Where have you found to order cheap flipflops from? Are you getting them customized in any way?

@ktana: I did this last month and it was a HUGE hit! I snagged up about 30 pairs for $1 each at JCPENNEY. I put them in a basket with a cute saying and they were placed by the DJ table. Only had one leftover pair at the end of the night!

I made a bathroom basket for the ladies washroom. It’s full of things like hairspray, clear nail polish for runs, safety pins, band aids, tampons, bobby pins, dental floss, aspirin, gum, etc. In the basket there’s also 10 pairs of flip flops in case anyone needs them.

I am! I got them when they were $1 at Old Navy in grey, silver and white! I’m putting them in both of the women’s restrooms in a basket and little size tags attached to them!

@ktana: we did and it was a huge hit! We got ours at Old Navy during a sale. They also let you return the unused ones, very nice not wasting money. We had a lady on Etsy make some size tags with ribbons.

yes, we are doing this, I also got the $1.00 flipflops from JCP (huge bargain and cute colors). MyMOH has a galvanized steel big tub and I’m gonna make a chalkboard sign (oh better add that to the list while I think of it)
