Seems like that salesperson wasn’t listening to you and had an agenda to make you fall in love with something that they could make a better commission on.  I’d shop around and have fun trying on rings elsewhere, and try a few different places.  But you might have to work one on one with a jeweler to get something custom made.  If they have something similar I’m sure they would be able to do custom work on that ring if they do that sort of thing there.  I know many bees and my cousin got get wedding band made custom and they did it in house, so I know this can be done.

I worked with my hands too and I actually didnt wear my e ring at work.  I barely wear it in the house too because im usually cleaning and cooking etc.   I really only wear it when I go out.  I take it off when I get in the house because I’m paranoid even about carrying a lot of bags in from the car or anything that it could get caught on things and banged around.

Online is a really good place to find exactly what youre looking for but then you cant try it on in person.  I have a moissy from moissaniteco.com and I know they allow you to return it if its not what you want as long as the tag is still on.  So maybe you can find one already made like in the links you provided that would be returnable if it didnt work on your hand.  I’m pretty sure theres a band like the one in your link on moissaniteco.com that i’ve seen so I guess its out there.  Sorry if im not being helpful but I wanted to post something since I saw your thread was blank so far!

If you are hard on your hands I would look at a bezel setting. It does look spacy and they can take a huge beating. I think a bezel would look awesome with those bands too

I agree with @Gelamac, the bezel would be beautiful and the bands would go great.  I love them both.

@tpol:  You should probably look into having a ring custom made.

I know Blue Nile also carries that floating style.
