The hotel we've blocked for our wedding guests (NYLO Providence-Warwick) was hit badly in the flood at the end of March and currently closed until further notice. One of our guests let us know that his hotel reservation was canceled due to this incident. I wonder if anyone else in the hive is effected by this freak flood and what you are doing about it. I emailed the hotel when I found out to determine if our block can stand or if we'll have to find a new hotel. Luckily our wedding is in September, I can'timagine what I would do if my wedding was at the hotel or if I had guests coming in this month!
If they let me keep the block (I hear they are scheduled to reopen in July) should I do so or find a replacement hotel now?
