I like the idea of red lipstick.  Your wedding dress is very vintage glamour.

As for the hair pieces…I’m not quite sure either.  I think I like the idea of either the flower or the bird cage veil, but both might be a little busy?

On the other hand…if you have the flower piece set back far enough I think both could work, actually.  I say get it and go to your trial.  First have them put in the flower to see if you like it and then add the veil to see if you still like the look.

Taking your beautful dress and unique style into consideration I would go with just the flowered/feathered headpiece and def do the same vintage-ish hairstyle you are demonstrating!!!! Love It

I’m not a fan of birdcages and I don’t think one would go with your dress. I prefer the flower.

i think a flower, a birdcage veil, red lipstick and optional (modestly) dangly earrings would all go very well together, but then i kind of like vintage glam & to me each of those elements are typical in such a look. could you try out a birdcage where you bought your dress? you could also buy a little bit of netting material from a milinery supply store or a haberdashery store quite cheaply & clip it on to your head, just to give yourself an idea.

i found a few pics to demonstrate what i’m getting at:

(flower, veil, red lipstick, no earrings)

Other posters are likely to disagree with me, but I feel like your wedding is the only day you get to wear a veil…Go for it! Think it would look great with the other accents you mentioned.

That is a beautiful dress and I think it would look fantastic with both the flower and the birdcage veil.
