No, I saved my bouquet but I just let it dry on its own. I might have considered doing it for $150-$200, but I was quoted $500 which was not possible for me.

I saw a picture of a shadow box with wedding pictures, and pressed flowers from the brides bouquet. I think it may be on the DIY section of weddingbee, but not positive. Anyway, it was pretty amazing, and  I think that’s what I want to do.

@angelaandchet:  I wanted to do the pressed flowers option but my wedding planner wasn’t able to find anyone in the area that did this. ๐Ÿ™

I let my bouquet dry on its own and it is now collecting dust in my room. I am not sure at this point what to do with it. All the preservation options were awkard in shape (they stick out soooo far!) and way overpriced IMHO.

@Treejewel19 I will look try to find the shadow box pic, and post a link. I think it’s something you could still do, but I’m not sure.

I got married Sat and my flowers are already starting to wilt and die. I think I will pull the petals to make popouri. So sad they were my favorite part of the day!

@christinacschneider oh a floral press sounds pretty cool, I was just going topress mine in a book.  I really want to do a shadow box. I’m just worried I won’t be able to. We are getting married on a Sundayand leaving early Monday morning for our honeymoon. We won’t be back until late Saturday night. So my bouquet will wait a week for me to get to it. Any ideas what I should do with it for the week?  I’m not sure if I should put it in the refrigerator, or just lay it out to.dry.
