Hello fellow Brides my wedding is next summer June 19, 2015
I’m having a bit of a melt down over here.
We’re doing a destination wedding in Florida on the beach.
There are so many venues its becoming more stressful than having a wedding at home!
I want my wedding to be small and intimate so only 20 people
my budget for food, location, music etc is around 8,000
It could be less than 20 people so I figured I could afford to spoil them since I dont have 100 guests it’ll only be 20 so 8,000 should be ok right?

Check around Pinellas County. We live there and we’re getting married at The Tradewinds on St. Pete Beach (its beautiful and a lot of ceremony/reception location options.) There are a ton of other beautiful places along St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island and Clearwater aswell.

Im in the same boat. Thought this would be easier than doing it at home but its working out to be over $200. A head. Plus most places want a minimum of 20 rooms booked. Thinking about bagging the whole destination idea.

Sole on the Ocean!!! It’s in Sunny Isles Beach! I had such a problem with all the other places, but this is a hotel that is awesome and they actually market to small weddings.

Thislittlepiggy: Sole on the Ocean!!! It’s in Sunny Isles Beach! I had such a problem with all the other places, but this is a hotel that is awesome and they actually market to small weddings. I have less than 20 guests and it fits in my budget. It’s amazing because I don’t have to worry about finding separate places for everything. They’ll do the ceremony, reception etc and there isn’t a minimum. 🙂

For that size wedding and budget you could do amazing things in St. Petersburg. The Don Cesar is amazing but I always hear you can get a lot of bang for your buck at Tradewinds Resort. Both are right on the beach. Good luck!
