Amelia Island might have some nice venues. I lived there for several years as a teen & although I haven't been to an Amelia Island wedding, I would imagine there are some beautiful locations. Below are two websites that I found. Good luck!

The Casa Marina hotel in Jacksonville Beach is popular for weddings.

Also, the TPC Sawgrass clubhouse is absolutely gorgeous. I have no idea how much they charge for weddings, but we had our company xmas lunch there a couple of months ago and it was amazing.
The Ribault Club is very nice.
If you want a small wedding, Le Jardin on Park Street is so amazing! I used to live across the street from there when I lived in Jacksonville. It is on Park Street, a few blocks from Five Points.
Also, if you want an amazing little white chapel, there is one in San Marco that a friend of mine was married at called San Marco Preservation Hall.
Here is a site with a bunch of Jacksonville area wedding sites:

And here is Le Jardin on Park
a lot of the venues here are kind of pricey, especially some that i see above. What scale of wedding are you thinking about? may make it easier to suggest places.
I was thinking the Ribault club, too. A friend had a beautiful wedding there that looked much more expensive than it was! What kind of venue are you looking for, and just how small is your budget? That might help us narrow it down as Melissa suggested.
looking at maybe 100 ppl max at the most.. all of my family and friends live up north im the only one in FL. so everyones gonna have to travel.. im assuming this is going to narrow our wedding party down a lot. i haven't set a "in stone" budget yet. I think my one splerge is going to be the venue it looks like. As far as a budget.... i dont have a job that pays the $$$$ im about to start back in school and my FI might be headed north for school next year. so we're looking for a venue that is casual but still chic .. im not wanting a huge over the top wedding.
Can they do weddings in Memorial Park? The fountain there and the location looking over the river would be awesome.
