Ahhh! We got married in Saratoga :)
A big florist there with a good reputation is the Posie Peddler. We used them, and were slightly disappointed. They were great to work with up until our wedding day, when I saw that the wrong blooms were used in my bouquet and BM bouquets. I don't want to blame them, and partially blame myself for some miscommunication perhaps. BUT, I think that they just wanted to please me so much, that they never really added in any professional advice. I asked for certain blooms that just did not work with what I wanted, and I wish they had told me because I would have gone in a different direction.
That said, I would HIGHLY recommend Jordan at Heaven Scent Floral Design. I'm working with her right now to some flowers for a photoshoot we're doing for or first-year anniversary, and she's been nothing but amazing. Like, seriously. She send you pictures of some of the flowers with the proposal to make sure you're all on the same page, and she only books one wedding per weekend to give you tons of attention. She's just super nice and really creative. She's also very well priced.

@Miss_Chapstick Thank you so much for the advice. Her site and work looks great! I will def. get in touch with her. I have also heard good things about Posie Peddler but maybe I will avoid them now since I don't want to have flower drama on the day of!

I went to Kris Ann and said that I had a $250 dollar flower budget. Everyone else laughed at me and sent me packing, Kris Ann worked with me and made it happen.

@PinkSparkleGrl Thanks for the advice I have seen Kris Ann's work before and it's lovely! We were thinking about going with Joe as out photographer but then decided to go with Sawicki Studios instead!
@upstatebroad: Awesome! We got married at the Gideon Putnam, but also considered the Canfield. You're right, it totally books up far in advance!
We got married at the Glen Sanders in Scotia and we used Felthousen's Florist in Schenectady. I don't know if they go as far as Saratoga but they were great. We had 13 tables, 3 bridesmaids bouquets, etc etc and it was only around $1100. The flowers were beautiful and Mark Felthousen was great to work with. I recommend them!

Our ceremony is in Saratoga and were looking for a flourist in the area...doesn't have to be right in Saratoga though. Does anyone have any ideas/advice? Goods/bads?
