How detailed should a florist contract be before signing and putting down a deposit?

You should expect there to be a pricing minimum (or final agreed upon price), the time/date/location of the wedding, the guaranteed time by which the flowers will be delivered, info about delivery and setup fees, who is responsible for picking up/delivering back empty vases etc afterward, deadline for when changes can be made to your flower decisions, a cancellation policy...

    Hope that helps!

I would also ask to for a general description of each item: single rose boutainnaire, etc., as well as what colors and what type of flowers.
