I’m honestly not sure how much she is but Roberta Bendavid does some of the most beautiful arrangements I’ve ever seen (she’s the florist for 11 Madison Park).  Her phone number is 212.677.7348.

Have you tried City Blooms?  They do all the florals for my firm and always do a nice job too.

Good luck!

Local 1-800 Flowers (storefronts) will do wedding flowers too.  They will work with you and their flowers usually last a long time.

Not sure what your definition of reasonable is 🙂 but I used Magnolia Flowers & Events and thought they did an amazing job! Ask for Angelica, she is great

Rachel is doing my wedding.  One consultation was pretty much all it took for me to choose her.  She is very professional, organized, and most important of all honest.  I asked her for references from some of her past clients and they all had great things to say about her…most notably how far she is able to stretch your budget.  I still can’t believe how much I’m getting for my budget!  So far she is amazingly accomadating and easy to work with.  Her website is

we used belle fleur, but i’m not sure if you’d consider them reasonable (they are compared to some of the other top florists).

mrs. butterfly used flowers of the world and was very happy with them.  i believe they are reasonably priced.

Chrislee, I think we used the same florist! I also used Rachel Cho Floral Design (www.rachelchoinc.com) for my wedding last summer and i LOVED HER! I found her by happenchance, by doing a bunch of searches after having some horrible luck with other florists I spoke with.

She was very accomodating and was fair on her pricing, given she had to fill up a vast industrial space and make it look like a festive reception hall.  She differed from the others because she had a unique design aesthetic.  (I used calla lillies, my absolute favorite, but she added pops of color which looked amazing)

 Highly recommended!
