I'm based in Staten Isand and I'm waiting on a proposal from Sean at Wildflowers. I also met with a few florists in Brooklyn- Seaport, Graceful Gardens & Denise Fasanello (who I had a really good feeling about). I'm trying to get a feel on pricing and style at this point. Good luck!
Thank you. And how are the prices? I have not a clue about this stuff. So when I meet w florists I don't know what's a good price n which is bad. I need centerpieces, bouquets and the flowers for the men.
In our area, I would expect 3K and up! I would encourage you to reach out to the florists, set up appointments to share your vision, and what you need and they should put together a proposal for you. Get a few prices so you understand what is competitive and try to aim for seasonal flowers.
Contact Ivie Joy Augustin. Her work is amazing. ivyjoy@ivyjoy.com or ivie.joy@gmail.com She used to work with Celadon & Celery but like any great artist she is branching out on her own and people follow her.
Just as a follow up- I've priced out some options and actually found that florists in Manhattan to be cheaper than the outer boroughs! This is opposite of what I originally thought, but I guess it's all the competition in the market that drives prices down. I just got a quote from Ariston flowers in Manhattan for about $3500 and I am having ALOT of extras- garlands, wedding arch, cocktail arrangements, etc. Maybe it's worth giving them a call.

Looking for a reasonably priced florist on Staten Island.
