I'm currently researching the interent for a florist right now.  I wanted to check in with you all and see what your experiences have been.  Do you have any florist recommendations?

I will be going through San Diego Wholesale Flowers. They did a GREAT job at my FSIL's wedding and they are one of the most reasonably priced places that I have found in San Diego. Check them out! They offer flowers if you want to DIY as well as putting them all together for you!

In case you missed it, I have the list of vendors who attended the Bridal Bazaar in October...message me if you're interested!

You might want to check out BridalInsider.com... it is a San Diego-based bridal board with a ton of wedding reviews that you can search for vendor recommendations.

Off the top of my head though, here are some florists that you might want to consider:

Simply Adina [www.simplyadina.com] -- Her website is a bit out-of-date, but Adina did a terrific job with my wedding flowers.

    Adorations [www.adorations.com]

I am working with Haydee's Creative Flowers for our September wedding.  So far every meeting with them has been great and I have nothing but great things about her from my other vendors.

I actually happened to email Haydee and Adorations this week.  Thanks for the recommendations, I'll definitely look into them.

Rae Florae is my florist.  She's based out of Hillcrest/Banker's Hill area.  She's very accommodating and friendly.

I'd like to look into all of these recommended florists.  What are their price ranges?  Which one would you ladies consider to be the most reasonable and priciest?

Wow, I've been trying to get in contact with Haydee's and I don't seem to be getting an appropriate timely response. I'm really disappointed since I heard she is great with her designs. Too bad. Most other vendors are on top of that. I'll keep looking.

I'm using Michael's Flower Girl, they are located close to Qualcomm Stadium. I had met them at the Bridal Bazaar at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and loved them so I contacted them. I had budgeted about $3,000 for my flowers including ceremony and reception and we sat down, I told her what I wanted she calculated it all up and it came out to be HALF of what I had budgeted. To say the lease I was STOKED!! They are really awesome, check them out :) http://www.michaelsflowergirl.com/. If you use them, tell them you met them at the bridal bazaar, you get 5% off!!!

Thanks Lindsey.  I will look into that.  Going below budget is a great incentive to check them out!  I have the same budget as well, but I'm using orchids....I hope they can work magic!

I was supposed to have a meeting with LaVonne at Adorations last Sunday, she pulled a NO SHOW, NO CALL!!!!!!  We were waiting at the door in front of the building in downtown for 30 mins.  =(  I wanted to find out what happened and kind of worry about her because she had call the day before to confirm the appointment.  So I gave her a call on Monday around noon, she flat out told me she had forgotten about our appointment.  She admitted receiving 8 missed call from me and the intercom at 6PM but she didn't have enough courage to call/email to apologize.  I didn't scream at her or anything and told her that my intention of the call was to let her know that we did show up and that was very unprofessional of her.  I was impressed with her work after visiting her website and ended the conversation with her with nothing but disappointment.  After discussion with my fiance last night, we decided that we cannot trust her on our big day, so we will not be re-scheduling another consultation.  =(

Wow, Cappucino....That's really too bad.  I'm starting to feel that way about florists here in San Diego.  Looks like it's going to be a tough search!
