I'm nearing the end of a frustrating florist search. I have one vendor I like, but would love to have someone for comparison purposes. The other florist I really enjoyed meeting never called me back for the follow-up he promised!
Who are you using, who did/do you like and who should I avoid?
I just wanted to write and say that I used Hairy Mary's (in Upper Black Eddy) for my wedding in June, and Mark really did a super job. I can email you pictures if you want.
spruce08--I am sorry you had such an awful experience--that makes me bummed. Do you mind my asking what happened?
I'm using Blue Moon Florist in Downingtown. Can't recommend them until after my September wedding, but so far they have been nice to deal with and I'm hoping the flowers are what I am looking for!
I'm using Robertson's for my November wedding. So far, so good, but of course not much has happened so far. They were very willing to work creatively within my budget, which I appreciate.
I also wanted to say that I used Hairy Mary's for my wedding in July and Mark was fantastic. He was probably the most personally attentive vendor we had - he called every day up until the wedding to make sure I wasn't nervous and the flowers looked beautiful on the day. I aslo can send pics.
Muppetchik and amjdvm I am glad your flowers were nice. Mine certainly were not. They were not at all what was in our contract, and they were half dead. Literally. Future brides- don't risk having my experience. There are tons of other florists out there. I would be happy to send pictures.
