I found my florist a few weeks ago. Its a women who does it by herself out of her home as her full time job. She has assistants that help her, but she runs in alone. Her company is Julie’s Originals and she is in Concord/Mentor/Painesville area but she does deliver her flowers to your sites. She is VERY affordable! And has a large collection of photos of weddings she has done..I guess she’s been doing this for 20+ years. Good portfolio in my book!

All my bouquets, corsages, church flowers, etc for $500. I though thtat was pretty good. And i’m getting the type of flowers I want which are usually more expensive. She uses a couple local growers to help keep costs on certain flowers down. PM me if you want her contact info.

I hope people are still looking for info about this so I can spread the word about the GEM of a florist I was recommended. He is AWESOME. His name is Vince and he is the owner of Forest Woods. He does amazing work and is SO REASONABLY PRICED because he runs his company out of a warehouse and it is a 2nd job for him. He does have assistants, etc, and is very professional. Every time I meet with him he gives me free flowers to take home, and he meets with us for so long and talks about so many things. It really feels like he cares. He’s awesome and I can’t say enough good things about him. I even had one of those "disaster wedding" dreams the other day where everything went wrong- EXCEPT the flowers! THey were perfect and I was like "thank god we booked Vince!" Haha.

And I mean it that he is reasonable for what he does… His centerpieces range from like $20 and up depending on what you want, and obviously it can go up a lot higher than that but for like, a full centerpiece of flowers I think ours are about $50 a centerpiece, which is UNHEARD OF!

You can probably find his info online but PM me if you want his number!

Check out Helene with Hosanna Designs.  She is VERY cheap because she works out of her house.  You will either click with her or not but if you do, he price for me came in HUndreds below anyone else.  I also had a great experiance with Blooms by plantscaping…though more expensive.  Also, while getting proposals, I realized EVERYTHING is negotiable.  If a quote comes in high, tell them that.

I also wound up going with Hosanna Designs.  Haven’t seen the finished products yet (the date is May 30) but Helene and I clicked and her prices were about half what the other girl we met with (who also works out of her house, so it was weird that Helene’s were so much lower.)
