This is the most affordable non-DIY option I've heard of.
Do you have a local high school vocational school or college. One of my friends had all her flowers designed as part of one of their classes and just paid the cost for the flowers. They turned out great!
agree with bvig! also put an add on craigslist and see what it turns up for you.. you may actually find folks who work from their house etc and aren't as expensive floral wise.

Hi,
It's my first time writing a post and my first day on the wedding bee :) My fiance and I have just booked are last major item for our wedding. Now it's time for the "not-so-important but yesh can be crucial" item. FLOWERS! We went to a wedding faire last week at the Fairmont and met only a couple of vendors but no one really stuck out to us.
Does anyone have suggestions? We live in the bay area so any florists around us would be ideal. Our budget for flowers is 1K and our colors is pink/brown/cherry blossom theme. My vision is to have pink/peach flowers of any type. My bridesmaids will be wearing latte colored dresses and I'd like to incorporate the pink with their bouquets.
To anyone that replies, I really appreciate the recommendations :)
