K ladies, my anniversary is a week away and we have the whole shebang planned for this weekend. BUT, our actual anniversary is on a work day, so I got to thinking about having flowers delivered to my husband at work. I just want to surprise him! Is this weird? Have any of you had flowers sent to your FI/Husbands?

Besides edible arrangements, is there anything else that is cute or fun or maybe a little more “manly” that can be delivered?

I have had balloons, a cactus plant and a huge chocolate fortune cookie all delivered to my FI's place of employment at different times.  He loved it.  I say go for it!

You know him best! If he'd appreciate flowers, go for it! Personally, I think it's very romantic and my FH would like it.

If he's too "macho" for flowers, why not surprise him with a gourmet lunch delivered (professionally or by you) to his office? I did this for Valentine's Day once and it was one of the most. successful. gifts. ever.

It really depends on your guy, I know my FI would not like to receive flowers at work, but if you think your guy will like it then go for it.

My guy would not like flowers at all... so I have sent him a pizza before!  It certainly surprised him and he was happy!  I've also sent a money tree "bamboo" and one of those edible arrangements.

My husband would not like flowers sent to his work, but he would love something edible! We have a local place that makes awesome cookie arrangements. I plan on sending him that for our 1 year anniversary at work.

Why not an edible arrangement? I sent one last year for my husbands birthday and he LOVED it. It was chocolate covered strawberries and him and his coworkes devoured it. I am pretty sure you can do a cookie delivery as well

I think my husband would appreciate it more if I sent him Thai food at work ;-P

My husband isn't into flowers so I did pizza once as someone else mentioned.

I'm sending my dad brownies for his birthday out of state this year; I've thought about Harry and David as well.

My DH would get teased mercilessly forever if I ever sent him flowers at work ... it would not be good!

I would send him food, pizza or chinese, or a basket full of junk food he could share with his co-workers!

I've sent my husband flowers before. I've also sent him chocolate chip cookies. He preferred the cookies. Smile

My FI is not really a flowers person. He loves edible arrangements and I have also sent him a bucket of snacks instead of flowers. There is a florist in his area that put together a tin pail of snacks: things like beef jerky, gummy worms, popcorn, etc and delivered it just like you would fowers. He LOVED that thing! Didn't even want to share with anybody =)

I don't think that my husband would enjoy getting flowers at work. When we were dating I sent him a giant fortune cookie, a balloon bouquet, and an arrangement from Cookie Bouquet.

I think food is the best way to go for many gifts... even if he likes the flowers he is pretty likely to get teased by the more manly men that work with him...

The guys at DHs work get fruit and cookie stuff all the time. They end up sharing with the other guys - there's 5 people in the office. They all love it.

I sent Mrs. Fields cookies for our first Valentine's Day. There's also a company (at least in Southern California) that sends cookies and milk.

I like the pizza idea too.

I sent flowers to FH who's in the RNZAF (Airforce) and they delivered them to him on the Parade Ground while he was away on course - I think he would have quite happily killed me if I wasn't in another island!

It might be embarrassing but I still reckon you'll score some serious brownie points :-)

I think it really depends on what your partner likes. No matter what you choose, I am sure he will be more than thrilled :)
