I don't think you have to worry about flowers being distracting.
You could go with a simple, streamlined bouquet that complements the purple (I'm no expert on flowers so ask your florist, but I'd think a simple combination of whites/greens/violets would work well).
When it comes to your centerpieces and large arrangements, I think you can splash out with more vibrant flowers any way you want.

Please can someone help me i have chosen a very detailed wedding dress with purple coulour though it, link below:

I am having a real dilema over what flowers to have with it, if any! I can't imagine my wedding with no flowers but i am really concerned that what i chose will either look too much or detract from the dresses beauty.
