I saw one where the flower girl carried a wand done up in flowing ribbons and with some flowers. She had  on wings like a little fairy, so cute.  She could wave the wand as she went down the aisle.

Maybe a halloween themed pomandor?

We can’t have flowers at our venue either. So our flower girls are carrying flower and ribbon pomanders.

Ohhh here is a link to Martha Stewart’s website that talks about flower girl wands… http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/photogallery/paper-and-fabric-flowers

since you mentioned it’s a halloween themed wedding I think it would be awesome if you did something really different like have the flower girl walk down the aisle with a jack o lantern… maybe use one of those battery operated tea candles if your worried about the fire hazard of a regular candle or even colored glow sticks if you want to try to stick to a color theme. When she gets to the end of the aisle she could put the jack o lantern up in the front somewhere to add to decoration πŸ™‚

My flower girl is just carrying a basket of flowers since our church also doesn’t allow her to throw petals. My sister is getting married October 16th and her flower girl is going to carry 8 mini bouquets and will be passing them out to guests as she walks down the aisle.

Your flowergirl could blow bubbles as she walks down the aisle or she could carry a jack o’lantern or small metal lantern or she could carry a sign that says here comes the bride.  By far though I think the jack o’lantern would best fit your wedding:)

I think the pomander would be best, personally. But I do love the look of them so I may be a bit biased. πŸ™‚

Well… I don’t think I’d give a three year old a lit pumpkin:)  But if you wanted to put one of those battery operated tealights in it, it would still glow and give off the vide of a jack o’lantern.  Three year olds also love blowing bubbles… or at least trying to and I think that’d be cute watching her trying to walk down the aisle and try to blow bubbles at the same time:)

I think for a 3 year year old the jack o lantern would still work if you got one on the smaller side and didnt use a real candle maybe battery powered or put a glow stick in it instead… bubbles would work but she might take a long time walking down the aisle….. also i read that if you get that stuff on your dress, it will stain your dress so just be careful staying away from the bubbles after the ceremony if anyone’s still playing with bubble πŸ™‚ other than that i like the pomodor (sp?) idea and i also like the sign idea where the flower girl comes walking down the aisle holding a sign that says here comes the bride πŸ™‚
