I think most people do the same color as their dress.  I however, didn’t want to go with the norm and didn’t want my little girl in white/ivory.  Her dress is a shade of light pink with bright polka dots.  I think it is whatever you think looks best.

Maybe you can get the white swatch from the two designers and see how close they are if that is your worry.

I have three flower girls, and am doing one in fuschia, one in purple, and one in green (my colors).  It’s traditional to have them in the same color as the bride’s dress, but it freaks me out a little to see young girls dressed up looking like brides.

If I have flower girls I intend to put them in a shade lighter than my bridesmaid dresses (like pink with red, or grey with black or something like that). If you don’t have that option then I agree with one of the above posters about trying to get a swatch of each so that you can see what the colours look like together. Probably white would be fine, likely you won’t notice any subtle difference in colour anyway.

I agree with nmsoonerbride, it freaks me out to see little girls all dressed up to look like mini brides…

I am happy that I am not the only one that thinks it is kind of freaky having little girls look like mini brides.

I wore ivory and my flowergirls wore white with ivory sashes.  I don’t think they looked like mini brides at all.  Tongue out

LOL I think your girls have very cute dresses!  I have seen lots of cute flower girls in white.  I just knew it wasn’t for me.  Nothing against those that like it. It is traditional for a reason.
