I have 2 flower girls (they're sisters) for my wedding. I need some ideas of what to get them as gifts. What are you guys getting your flowergirls?

    Thanks!

Since they're sisters, I'd say get them the exact same thing.  Their parents will thank you.  And I think it depends on their age.  You could get them a flower girl doll or coloring books/games to occupy them during the reception.  You could get them jewelry to wear for the wedding (it's never too early for some pearl studs).  Or go to (or better yet, take them) to Build-a-Bear and let them make bride bears.

I was thinking of Build-a-Bear too. Do you think it matters if i take them before or after the wedding?

I have 4 flower girls between the ages 8-10 and I am giving then an activity bag full of things that will keep them entertained at the reception.  I've included a coloring calendar, cute pencils & crayons, diaries with the first initial, travel size card games and such.  I got everything at Michael's in their $1 aisle (most items were on sale & I used their coupons) along with the cute reusable tote bag.  I think I spent just over $5 each.  I am also taking them to the American Girl store and getting their doll's ears pierced!

I'm going to ask the mothers of my two FGs to help me pick out a special toy for each of them, and will do the same for the ringbearer and the sister of one of the FGs, who is too little to be in the wedding.

I picked out several fun gifts in the dollar section at Target for our flowergirls, all in our wedding colors (Champagne, Purple, & Green).  In addition to the inexpensive little purses, sunglasses, toys, etc, I'm also thinking about getting each of them an American Girl doll.  I bought a Molly doll when I was a kid and just adored her.  Our two flowergirls will both turn 6 right before the wedding and are important in our family (a niece and a cousin's daughter), so I want to give them something special that will last.  My mom & I are also making their dresses and may buy their shoes as well.

We bought our flower girls an American Girl 'Just Like Me' Doll that looks like each girl, had doll dresses made to match their flower girl's dresses, and matching shoes.  I can't wait for pictures of each girl with her matching doll!!!

@Shaema: That's a great idea!  I have been waffling between the 'Just Like Me' dolls for the girls or the historical dolls since they serve more of an educational function.  They just opened an American Girl Store here, so I think I'd better check it out in person! :-)

I am giving my FG a cute tote bag with day of activities like coloring books, crayons, snacks, small toys, etc and a pearl necklace for the wedding. She will be 3.

I don't know how old your flowergirls are but mine are 3 and 5. They are also sisters and we go to church with them. At church they are always bringing notepads and crayons so I got them each a doodlebag from davids bridal, which has a notepad, crayons, a chalkboard, chalk, and an eraser.

@Shema: that is a great idea. I have an American Girl Doll, her name is Addy.

I was thinking about getting my flower girls an pilliow pet (those things in the info-mericals).
