I’m having my cousins 2 year old daughter as my Flower Girl. The only thing im not sure of is if she will understand the concept of dropping the flowers outta the basket or if i should have her do something else? what is everyones thoughts? thanks!

put a hole in the bottom of the basket? or just have her walk down the aisle. To be fair, she’s very young, she’ll probably go the wrong way anyway!

Im with Sophiesparkel, she is 2, she probably isn’t even going to walk in the same dirrection. or if she does walk she will most likely run. Its just what 2year olds do. I would certainly have her carry a cute little basket but don’t count on any of those petals getting spread evenly over the isle or anything… best of luck though.

Just have her carry a pomander. She’s 2, I doubt she’ll make it down the aisle alone as it is. Haha.

I agree with the pomander idea, I had my FGs carry pomanders and I think thats better because you dont have to clean up the petals later

Mine is 3 gong on 10 so I don’t have that problem lol however, look up “here comes the bride” singns. I have seen little Flower Girl carry those and it’s so adorable. Def have someone older walk with her or sit her mom at the very front of the aisle so she walks/runs towards her lol. Whatever she does will be very cute. If the sign doesn’t appeal to you then the pomander is cute too. I wouldn’t do the basket because we know she won’t know whatto do with it.

2 is a little young to understand the concept. Have her carry something like a pomander (with a ribbon strap for her wrist). She’ll likely need an adult to help her walk down the aisle anyway.
