I feel like I’ve asked this before, but anyway…I thought it would be cute if my flower girls (my nieces, who will be 4, 6, and 8, and then my other nieces who will be 1.5 will wear the tutus as well, though they won’t walk down the aisle) wore short poofy tutus in the “wedding colors”. However…I don’t know what they’d wear WITH the tutus. I don’t like the way tutu dresses look, and I think the crochet tops a lot of tutu sellers recommend are odd.
Any ideas? I want them to look fancy but fun… Also should they wear leggings? They will look like they are going to a party, I’m worried, instead of a wedding. Maybe if they wore light blue tutus (I was thinking a brighter blue but more pastel might be better) and then white?

It depends on how short the tutus are as far as leggings go, but a white or striped flutter-sleeve shirt (like this) would look cute with a tutu.

pastel, yes I agree would more whimsical, less mardi gras. tops? hmmm… for the babies, i like simple sleeveless or capsleeve tops, maybe with fancy necklaces. For the 6 and 8 year old? i feel like tutus may not be elegant enough. maybe longer tulle skirts? sorry to not be more helpful

Thank you both! I don’t know why I didn’t google this…duh. I think it will depend on how short the tutus end up being on the girls…and we can add leggings if necessary. That will change the look, though, won’t it?
I think they’re going to wear pale blue tutus with white shirts…or maybe white tutus with pale blue shirts? I’ll figure it out.
