I need some help here. I am all scattered and second guessing.
We are having a budget friendly wedding, and decided to go use DIY flowers instead of a florist. We are having a backyard vintagey wedding, so it didn’t need to be super fancy.
There is a greenhouse near us who does wholesale flowers. I was told to put in the order only 2 weeks prior. So this week I have been trying to fugure out how much and what I want. I wrote what I wanted and talked to the lady today.
I wanted some randoms and wildflowers scattered everywhere, all over our tables (like you see in SMP I knooow). Then since I was DIYing these bouquets, they couldn’t be too crazy.
I have 3 girls in my party and me. So four bouquets. No corsages or bouts.
Our colours were light pinks and ivorys.
So I was thinking, for myself, to have a white bouquet, filled with some white peonies, white hydrangeas, and some mini roses or something like that.
The girls I was thinking doing the light pink peonies and pink hydrangeas, and some other pinks in there. the light pinks. (and I was unsure on this, but their dresses are cream coloured too, so didnt want us all wearing ivory with ivory bouquets)
So the problem is…. they have no more ivory peonies. They don’t stock garden roses either.
Not sure what to do. Fifty flowers is an option, but would start going over our budget a bit. (is it reliable?)
She says the pink hydrangeas are tinted.. what does that mean? Would they match the pink peonies, so they blend in?
Question is… what should I do, can I do a bouquet with hydrangeas and lots of mini roses? Or order some fifty flowers? Or just go nuts on the side of the country road with wildflowers?
Sorry if this is long and stupid. I’m two weeks out.
