I am planning on making my own bouquet to save some money. I found a picture of something that really called to me. The problem is that I know almost nothing about flowers so I am wondering if any of you bees can identify the plants in this picture? Also I’d love to know if you think it goes well with my dress. thanks guys!
here is the bouquet:

I’m pretty sure the fluffy pink bits are astilbe and the white berries are snowberries; and I think I spy some Queen Anne’s lace between the roses as well. Pretty bouquet! 🙂

I think the white flowers may be Gardenias, but I especially wanted to say that I LOVE your dress!

That may be heather popping up in the long sprigs. That bouquet will be GORGEOUS with your dress!!!

The pink flowers sticking up are astilbe and the flowers hanging down are amaranthus. The berries are snowberries and I think the white flowers are gardenias. If you are DIY, gardenias wilt and bruise very easily so you may want to consider using a different flower.

Sorry I don’t know much about flowers so I don’t know anything but the roses. But that is the perfect boquet for your dress, nice find!
And I just had to comment, because your dress is AMAZING!

I agree with studio, I think the pink, long fluffy things are astilbe (I used them in white in my bouquet).

You guys truly are the best! Thank you so much for your comments on the flowers and the dress. I am so in love with both. How I found my dress was a funny story which I won’t bore you with the details but much like my soon to be husband, both took me by complete surprise. Thanks again guys! Now I am going to see about finding different white flower that wont bruise as easily, as I have only admiration and no experience with flowers.

I’m continually impressed by you bees and the unending knowledge in these boards. Wow!!
