I did orange and yellow and white and had sunflowers with mango (a bit like burnt orange) and white calla lilies and white hydrangeas
no pix back yet but i used orange and yellow gerber daisies for my centerpieces.
i also had a gerber daisy bouquet for my engagement shoot and it lasted just fine - they wrapped it with damp cotton, plastic and foil, then covered the whole thing up with ribbon. it lasted all day (my mil actually kept them for another 2 wks!)
for my wedding, i had mango calla lilies, with burnt orange / yellow roses (the ones with tinged petals), orange dahlias and berries. it looked fantastic.
i've also seen bouquets of pure sunflowers that look great. try typing in the names of the flowers in google images.
Google Image search is my go-to for inspiration photos.
Here are some pictures that turned up with the key words: orange yellow bouquets.

I've been using www.theknot.com they have a wide variety of floral pictures, and they even let you view the bouquets/arrangements by color.
You can also look at the gallery here on weddingbee :)
I love Karen Tran. She has a website and blog. Her stuff is over the top but it will give you some good ideas!
You've seen Martha Stewart's orange bouquets and centerpieces?
i am planning to use hydrangeas which are known to die without water also, and my florist said she can put them in the little water tubes and then wrap the stems with ribbon and you won't even know.
i like the knot also for wedding inspiration, and just google images too. and its good to just go onto random florist web sites and look at things they've done, doesn't have to be your florist's site.
try ranunculus!!! they're BEAUTIFUL and definitely comes in yellow. i used theknot.com, style me pretty, and martha stewart. GL
I originally wanted to to daisies too, but Ive since fallen in love with Dahlias. They have a similar look and come in every color of the rainbow. and all sorts of sizes.
For inspiration, I'd recommend two sites that I've lost many hours to:
Style Me Pretty at http://www.stylemepretty.com/gallery/category/flowers and
Project Wedding at http://www.projectwedding.com/photo/browse?tag=flowers

Does anyone have any good sites to get some flower inspiration? I originally was set on Gerber Daisies but have since changed my mind aftering finding out they don't do well without water.
I would like orange and yellow flowers-and have been thinking of just simple roses-but want to look at other ideas just to be sure!
