First — Take a deep breath. This can be fixed should you choose to. Now.. I think they look great.I really do — if you want to make it more fuller, maybe check out your local dollar tree or craft store and see what they have on sale. You had a vision but whats in your picture really does look great.

@hyruleloves:  Check out my wedding [post moderated for self promotion]I bought my flowers from a local garden shop and from a grocery store.  I spent around $400 for all of my flowers!  Not sure what your budget is, but check it out.  it might work.  Good luck!

Whoa. How many centerpieces/tables are you having?!!  If you cant get your money back, you arent screwed. I think it really just needs a few more flowers to fill it out. If you go to a Hobby Lobby, you can get some artificial roses in a slightly different shade (dont try too hard to match) and I think it would really look beautiful. The slight contrast would add depth! And if you leave it as is, as a guest, I would still think its quite pretty!

I would cut the stems so all of the flowers are the same height and sit just above the vase. 🙂

Wow, why would she do that just to be mean? That’s a horible thing to do on purpose.

That being said, I don’t think your centerpieces look horrible, but I, myself, have very picky taste when it comes to something I have my mind set on. If I were you I would buy more flowers that are similar but in a different color.

@KoiKove:  Thats what I’m thinking too! Thats crazy. You can get 50 peonies for less than that. I’m guessing it includes the containers…idk?

And this is also the reason I’m not using a friendor. FH’s mom really wanted her SIL to make our centerpieces and then drive them here from another state the day of our wedding. Nope. I’ll be happy to DIY my own 5 fresh floral centerpieces the day before since I know my taste. That lady only makes floral arrangements as “get well” gifts and thats not going on our table!
