I have just chosen my bridesmaids’ dresses and have decided to choose the flowers next, but I am stuck. My wedding will take place right outside a small country church in Tennessee and will incorporate elements of the outdoors, which we love so much, along with little rustic country things that are special to us. This will all take place in the Spring 🙂 Our main colors are Navy and Baby Blue, and Cardinal Red. We need to choose accent colors and flower types (roses, tulips, etc) and I am lost. The men will be wearing Gray suits and the girls will be in knee length Navy dresses..
PLEASE leave me suggestions for the flowers! Pictures would be great! We will need ideas for bouquets and centerpieces! THANKS!!!!!
P.S. Below are photos of the bridal party’s outfits (excluding mine, its a secret!)
The suit example below.. instead of the white I wanted red and light blue flowers..

I think wildflowers would be great with the whole rustic/country/outdoorsy theme or you can go more classic with something along the lines of roses or peonies but I would keep whatever you choose simple and avoid exotic looking flowers which would clash with your overall feeling.

@lionskitty: Thank you for the suggestion! 🙂 I agree on the exotic flower thing. I don’t care for them to begin with, so they definitely wouldn’t make it in my wedding. A friend suggested exactly what you did. My fiance and I are going to use local flowers, some from the local flower shop and the rest will come from the gardens of our family 🙂 fresh backyard grown roses, tulips, hydrangea, and we are even throwing in some wild honeysuckle and a few other things in with the mix, and we are putting them in mason jars for centerpieces, and using the same flowers from the bouquets and boutonnieres 🙂 So in short, THANKS so much for your comment and suggestions! ITS PERFECT! 🙂
