a lot of times it depends on each florist. But here is a site which may help a little.
This is fairly vague for pricing ($-$$$ is the only "numbers") but I found it helpful to look at when things are in season, other colors flowers come in, and get a general price range (ie doable vs totally out of the question). It's also helpful if there's flowers you've seen but aren't sure what they're called.

Has anybody came across a chart that gives the basic ideas of flower costs by type of flower; ranked cheap, medium, and expensive?
