I see a lot of flower cost threads, but I can't seem to find any floral vendor recommendations. I'm still in the search, so I know if this information would help me - it would probably help others as well! Please post up your vendors, prices and what you are getting for the price. Would be super helpful!

Flowers are very subjective - unlike photographers where you can give the rates because it's for this amount of time and includes this many prints or albums, flowers will depend on what you need and what type of flowers you want.

Without counting my chuppah, my flowers (with deliveries and taxes) will approach $2k.  That includes 12 low centerpieces in square vases, 6 assorted cocktail arrangements, my bouquet, MOH bouquet, 4 boutonnierres, 4 corsages, and a few random pieces.  I have a very specific look in mind, but everything will be with roses, hydrangeas, and other seasonal flowers.

Check out Flowers by Richard - he's got some packages on his website and he's very amenable and will work with you.  GL.

Ditto @thebriz: it's very dependent on what kinds of flowers you need, and what sort of arrangements you're getting. I'm having 15 centerpieces, 4 bm bouquets, my bouquet, 8 boutinniers, 2 corsages for the moms, an entry way/escort card table arrangement, 150 Chiavari chairs, aisle decor, and a decorated chuppah for around 8k, including taxes and delivery fees. yes, it's a lot, but we're getting a lot. We're using Lenox Hill florist, because they're one of the required vendors. We probably could have found it cheaper if we could have shopped around, but alas!

I've heard good things about Designs by Rose (I think that's it...); she seems to be very reasonably priced. Atlas Floral also does beautiful work, from what I've seen at the bridal show I went to.

We used Magnolia and loved them.  We had similar stuff from them, except the Chivari chairs as the PP, and paid about $2K less.  Everything looked beautiful and lasted until the next day despite the 96 degree heat.  And this included delivery to the Hudson Valley.  Keep in mind you can ALWAYS try to negotiate with vendors - see what changes they can make to fit into your price range (presuming it isn't 5X what you want to spend!)

Designs by Rose is awesome - hurry, she books up fast.  She was booked for my date, which is why I went with Richard.  Atlas is okay too.  You can definitely shop around and find deals.  My advice, know what you want ahead of time - going in not knowing will leave you vulnerable - or at least have ideas in mind.  And when asked, be open and firm about your budget.  If a place really wants your business, they will work with you.  GL.
