We do not have a flowergirl but for my sister’s wedding, she got the flowergirl a cute little white purse with “flowergirl” & a little pink flower stitched on it.  She filled it with a Hannah Montana thing (maybe a pencil case?), lip gloss and a little jewelry set.  The flower girl LOVED it!!  Really, little girls love to feel like grown-ups so getting them a little purse or jewelry is really special for them.

One of our few splurges was buying each of our three flower girls an American Girl ‘Just Like Me’ Doll, had doll dresses to match their flower girl dresses, and matching shoes.  Watching their reactions to their gifts is one of the things I’m looking most forward to on our wedding day =o)

Since my flower girl is my daughter I am going to spoil her. I plan to get her a silver mirror, brush, and comb set like you see in the old movies, a necklace, a flower girl jacket and shirt, a flower girl picture frame to put in her room with our picture, and I also plan to fill the bag with crayons, color books, lipgloss, nail polish, earrings etc. Pretty much all of the little things she will need the day of the wedding. It will make her feel special. I plan to give her the jacket and t-shirt long before the wedding so she can wear it when we are shopping and preparing. Look in the catalogs and online. There are some really great flower girl gifts out there and I am sure the girls will like whatever you get them.

We have 5 flower girls so we got them Disney Princess jewelery boxes and I am looking for/making them bracelets in their favorite colors for them to wear on the wedding day.  And maybe a few other fun pieces for play.

Then I have a “survival” kit for them with a packet of gold fish, fruit snacks, a small bottle of water, a homemade coloring book with pics of them as flower girls to color and crayons.

Depending on their age, wedding barbies are always fun too.
