@august302014:  I am DIY my centerpieces but getting my florist to do everything else. He gave me a spreadsheet of everything and prices. He was fine with us picking and choosing whatever fit in our budget. Our floral bill is still one of our most expensive wedding costs! Definitely our splurge.

@august302014:  we are inviting 130. I think we will have about 15 tables. A friend of my FI’s family is a florist and agreed to do them for me. However, his family can be a bit shady and I am 100% prepared to order flowers online and put them togethER the day before the wedding. A friend of mine agreed to bring and put together everything for me.

As a floral designer, I’ve been asked to do only personal flowers but never only centerpieces. I wouldn’t be opposed to the idea but unless you are going super-simple on bouquets and/or you want really complicated centerpieces, I think personals are more time-consuming and challenging.

@greensnapdragon:  Yes! My thoughts were that the bouquets/ church flowers would be the most photographed so i wanted them to be perfect! I’m not as worried about centerpieces.
