I’ve also been considering ordering bulk flowers online, and I’ve had the same thoughts about everything that could go wrong, in the back of my mind. Seeing your review makes me quite a bit more comfortable with the idea. Those flowers you received look great!

Not bad! I’m also considering ordering flowers from Bunches Direct or some other distributor and really appreciate your photos. I have the same fear about putting all my eggs in one basket…so…yeah. Lol.

Scooper7: the flowers do look lovely, but considering they are not at all what you ordered (petals) I would be concerned.

Hmmm – I would NOT use Bunches Direct nor recommend them to anyone!!!
I ordered my flowers from them six weeks before and 48 hours before the wedding they told me they could only supply one of the flower types booked, making me have to hunt them down and pay full retail priace.
Plus it took 6 weeks to get a refund. Bad service, and too much stress at the last minute.

I ordered all of my flowers through bunches direct, including greenery, and corsages & boutenniers. Everything turned out wonderful, and the flowers held up for an entire week after!

I ordered roses, sunflowers, and lillies.

The only problem was the lillies didn’t open up in time, so you’d have to order those further in advance to give them time. We just ended up not using them.

The sunflower bouts were amazing, and the guys loved them. The corsages were a little big, but they look great in photos.

I also had purchased one of the discount coupons that got you an extra $100, plus free roses. Totally worth it. All the flower for bouquets, 25 reception centerpiees, flower girl, ceremony flowers, bouts, and corsages came to about $700.

Scooper7: +Sillysillybee said, I had to go back and read what you wrote again. Wasn’t that part of the reason you were looking online to get just the petals and not roses you’d have to detatch from the stem.

Scooper7: YAYY! A fellow Albertan! 🙂

Have you looked into Costco? They have bulk roses (100 of them) for $115, Hydrangeas (40 of them for $130) and baby’s breath (240 stems) $124. I have heard nothing but great things about them.

This could be totally wrong, but would you be able to get rose petals that are detached? You would think that if they are detached they would wilt by the time they got to you?!

Scooper7: So sorry didn’t realize this was an old post! I’m so glad that the Safeway flowers worked out beautifully for you!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!!! SCAMMING THEIVES!!!!! I ordered several hundred flowers and recieved 1/2 of my order. HALF OF THE FLOWERS I PAID FOR. When I tried to call I couldn’t get through to them, I tried SEVERAL TIMES. Time was of the essence so we have to drive around town finding other flowers. When they finally contacted me back – they told me that since I had not spoken to them within 12 hrs of the getting the order, that nothing could be done. They REFUSED to give me money back. THIS IS STEALING!!!!! The flowers that we did get, had brown spots all over them. Awful Quality. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. RUINED THE DAY! AWFUL PEOPLE!!!! Please do not order from them. You always get what you pay for – the reason they are cheap is because they rip people off. Don’t let what happened to us happen to you on your special day.
