How about dark pink (peonies, roses, gerber daisies?) they always pop against black and white!
how about aqua? that's a pretty hot color and would really POP against black and white. or purple?
How about orange or yellow? Great fall colors that would really pop agaist a black and white background!
I believe any bright color with black and white makes it pop. I love bright yellow and even bright pinks.
My wedding colors were black and white and my accent color was pink - so I was going to do pink roses.
But then I decided to keep most of the pink at the reception and go with a straight up black and white color scheme. I used White Calla Lilies. They were very classic and popped against the girls' black dresses.
But is I had it to do all over again, I would have used Pink flowers...
i always thought black, white and purple looked very nice together. Rononculus, lisyanthis, Iris, hydrangeas, are standard fare for that color.
What about calli lilies? Those come in so many different colors and are pretty!
I am using black white and yellow. Its a summer wedding but yellow can still work in sept. this is the look i am going for.
I think you could do so many different colors with B&W! Yellow would be a lot of fun, pink would be adorable, different shades of purple or blue would be elegant. You have so many options! :)
What about lime/apple green? It's definintely not over done, and makes a statement! (I'm partial, because that's our color scheme.) ![]()
What about yellow or orange gerber daisies? They also come in red and pink as well. I also like the idea of black white and hot pink....Lots of flowers would go along with that. Good luck!
Our colors are black and white as well, and we're using purple as our accent color! Like in this photo:

You could do white flowers... white roses and whatnot. That's the only white flower I know right now
Daisys?
Another vote for purple here. Purple can go a lot of different directions depending on the shade and how you use it. I think a bright plum/violet shade would really POP, as others have suggested, OR you could use a softer shade with more of a pink tone, like fushia, to bring in a more sutble, feminine feel.
If you want to stick with BW theme, you could do white anemones with black centers. So striking!
Keep it simple.. go with white, ivory flowers. Tiger lilies... Cox comb is really pretty and soo different. Comes in many colors too. Purple would be super pretty too!
Well I think the whole ROY G BIV has been covered. Really you could do just about anything. What is your favorite color? Would prefer a specific flower, and be willing to work within whatever colors that flower comes in? Let's narrow it down.
I think all white flowers with hints of green would be gorgeous. I am thinking orchids, calla lillies and hydrangeas tied with a black ribbon.
You can also go with dalihas, or deep red lily's...
and even carations when packed together are great...
LOVE the yellow accent- and I agree, pleaseee use anemones! Also if they are in season black dahlias are striking!
blue and/or green hydrangea! i love the way they look and if its not terribly hot out or if you have water readily available, they hold up well.
Do you want flowers or would you be okay with feathers?? i think that ostrich feathers would be gorgeous
@Lady...your inspiration board looks just like my younger sister's =) She is doing the black and white with yellow as the accent color.
I agree with teh black and white anemones. That's what I was going to say.
I also did a black and white wedding (with black and white damask), and used purple and fuchsia flowers throughout. I loved how it turned out, and received so many compliments on it!
I also think the yellow accents are totally unique and absolutely stunning.
Bright pink/fuschia looks amazing with black and white, especially damask.
We were doing fuschia and pewter, but I'm adding a lot of black and white to the scheme.

Hi Ladies,
I have been going over and over again in my head what colors I could incorporate into my black and white themed wedding. I AM DEAD SET AGAINST RED ROSES! Everyone uses red with Black and white and I really don't want that. Does anyone have any ideas? My wedding is in September. So what do you think is appropriate and would make everything "POP". I need your help and creative ideas...
