I am trying to plan a wedding, and I haven't even made any decisions yet, but I'm think aqua/light turquoise/pool will be my main color.  I will probably have some black and white accents.  I can't decide on any type of flower.  I'm a little afraid to go with pink because I don't want it to look like "baby colors" but I'm not sure I like white calla lillies either.

    Any suggestions?  Thanks

For our aqua, orange, & ivory wedding we're using blue hydrangeas, peach, orange, & ivory carnations. Look around on online floral websites to give you some ideas. I've even seen some vendors that sell tiffany blue/pool hydrangeas before.

Our main color for our wedding was pool, and we had raspberry (a dark pink) as an accent color. I was a little worried that it would look baby colorish, but it really didn't at all! It looked beautiful, and there are so many options for dark pink flowers. We had a lot of dahlias and they were gorgeous!

Have you considered yellow? There are some amazing yellow flowers out there, especially yellow callas and billy buttons (my fovorite!). It's a really great modern color scheme. Love aqua!

I like the red! Bright pink would work, too and I don't think it would look babyish

Thanks!!  I'm not that great with decisions. (lol)  But I like the red, and I guess If I do raspberry that would look nice.  I considered orange, but I'm having a church wedding, and in think it would look funny.

I thought about raspberry daisies and maybe white roses, but I'm not sure they will work together.

I went simple and picked aqua and white.  I used all white flowers (with greens to accent, stephanotis with pearls, lilies, and roses) and then found aqua ribbon and tulle to wrap my bridesmaids' bouquets etc.  Aqua was kinda a hard color to match (it helps to start with the bm dresses, then match other stuff to that) so I felt like white made it a little easier than worrying about 2 colors.  Here is one of the smaller bouquets, my cake, and my flowers!

mallorynjmf: What flower is that on the bottom left of your second image? The blue flower? I am thinking about just putting a single flower in a vase on each table and that blue would be perfect with our colour scheme...

With aqua I really like either all white flowers or all red flowers with the linens being the aqua color.

I really like fuller flowers, so I tend to go toward hydrangeas and larger garden roses...

I'm having an aqua and red wedding, and I've decided to go with red roses and red gerbera daisies! Both red flowers really compliment the aqua color.

Oh there are so many beautiful combos:  Turquoise & Orange, Turquoise and Red, Turquoise and Yellow, Turquoise and Dark Purple, or Turquoise and HOT pink.  There are soooo many beautiful combinations you could do - but I would narrow down if you are thinkging more teal or more aqua... they have different undertones and would look better with different colors.  Teal would make me think more pastels, aqua more bold colors.. just my opinon.

@ noritake22 love those! so pretty! you should def use that as inspiration

i like the pink but i agree on the baby colors :) ever thought of adding lime to color scheme just for flowers not other decorations? I think it complements aqua nicely!
