I live in Los Angeles, am having an October wedding as well and I went down the LA Flower Market last October to see what would be available. Calla Lillies were indeed there, so I would imagine it wouldn't be a problem. The seaon for things here in SoCal is a bit different than the rest of the country. The flower market website gives you an idea of what they have there (and I believe a lot of florists would source at least some of their materials there) and what is in season when.

I know it shows that callas aren't there in the fall, but I came across a lot while I was there. Good luck!
I'm also getting married in October and I'm having Calla Lillies. I'm getting married in NJ and I do know that it is a bit more expensive to have them, so your mom is probably right, but you can still get them.

hi all,
i really wanted calla lillies as my centerpiece and my wedding date is October 4 in Los Angeles, California. But, my mom just told me that calla lillies aren't in season. any other suggestions??
