Sounds pretty reasonable to me but I didn't do much research since there's only one florist in my town, I've known her for years and years and it was never a question of whether or not she'd do our wedding...But personally, doesn't sound that expensive!
I think the centerpieces are a little high (we are having similar centerpieces for $40 each, but I am providing the vases), but everything else sounds pretty much right on!
I loooove your bouquet. It's gorgeous!
Chillmer - the $55 includes $15 urn rental, so that would put our centerpieces at the same price point!
I think it sounds reasonable! I think we are spending over a thousand, and that doesn't include church flowers, and we have MUCH cheaper centerpieces (we HAD to scale them back)
I think you are good.
Perfect! Then I think you are definitely paying a reasonable price for flowers. I had a little bit of sticker shock, too. Flowers are expensive!
im spending about the same actually but i am ordering from 50flowers cause i want to have as many flowers as i can... but if i went to a florist id say thats a good price,,, i got quoted about the same for my flowers too when i went
Hi Jo Jo - I saw you comment from another board and saw that you are in Santa Cruz area (I'm a Capitola girl). I'm having a family friend do my flowers but if I didn't have her do it I would have gone with Sweeley Flowers. She was on my preferred vendor list and she gave me the lowest quote and seemed really dependable.
I think it sounds about right for the flowers you chose, which are so pretty btw. You should always meet with another florist just to compare, but it sounds about right in the ballpark of my flowers too, at least with the boutainnaire and bouquet prices.
This sounds about right to me! You are getting a great price for centerpieces. I think that maybe you can try an lower the BM bouquets a bit though
Sounds about right to me. Actually sounds really good price. That's what my aunt is charging me, she owns a floralshop. I'm basically just paying the wholesale cost of the flowers and paying for her employees labor except her time. So she's not making a profit on us.
