First thing I thought honestly was white tulips and I am not sure if they are even in season...
Is your venue indoors or outdoors? Are there any colors in the decor that you can pull from for an inspiration color?
If not, do you or your fiance have a favorite color that you could use?
I have been really digging all the lovely purple bouquets I've been seeing around with varying shade of purple, from plum to a light lavendar. I think that could compliment your dress and bridesmaids dresses nicely. Purple is vibrant but not super bright.
Venue is indoors. The inside of the reception hall has a burgundy accent wall so I considered perhaps incorporating burgundy flowers, however I am scared these would blend in with the bridesmaid dresses in photos and am not sure what other colors to pair them with... Help! :)
I also considered doing white orchids with burgundy throats (see link below), or just white callas for the bridesmaids...

I am just having a hard time putting my whole color scheme together. I do like turquoise...
my wedding is june 26th 2010. my bm's dresses are also black. im using a dark red as an accent. the bouquets will be all dark red.
I like the orchids you're thinking of and calla lilies.
If the room is burgundy, what if you went with gem tones? You could do a peacock blue or teal, which is kind of like a darker turqouise. I think that would compliment the burgundy and black nicely.
Your dress and your bridesmaid's dress are both very elegant.
If that is the look you are going for, you may not want high contrast between the dress and the flowers.
Puple calla lilies might be an option.
Purple, black and white would also make an elegant color scheme for your reception.

I am getting married June 19, 2010 and need to decide on an accent color still, which I will bring in with the flowers (bridesmaid bouquets and centerpieces). My dress is very elegant so I don't think bright colors would look good. Any ideas would be much appreciated!
