We are using Whole Foods for 10 bouts, 4 corsages, 5 flower bracelets (for bridesmaids who are carrying lanterns down the aisle instead), and my bouquet for $380.

I know that other grocery stores offer these services too, so I’d start there if you dont want to DIY.

This is my inspiration picture! We have a candle theme going so it works perfectly and I was able to order lanterns similar to this for $4 each on ebay.

The bridesmaids will wear these. I was able to find the bracelets for about $2 each and we are using mums which are really inexpensive:

I used a combination of silk flowers and paper origami flowers that I made by hand. For my bouquet and five bridesmaids bouquets I probably spent around $50 total. I also am using the same idea for centerpieces, aisle decor, etc…In total I will probably spend around $300 for a wedding of 120 guests.

I have also heard many brides going the grocery store route as PP mentioned and it seems to work out great. I’ve also heard great things about Whole Foods in particular when it comes to flowers.  Where I live a lot of brides also hit up the local farmer’s market for very affordable, locally grown bouquets – but that can really depend on time of year and you don’t get as many options. I would have liked to go that route but there are not a lot of local flowers in bloom here in Mid-May.

Costco sells bulk flowers. The selection in the US is about 50x better than Canada though.

@ontbride:  Go on the Sams Club website and look through the wedding flowers. Beautiful… and inexpensive. You can buy them in arranged bouquets/bouts or bulk

@ontbride:  you could always think about having your BMs carry just a single flower.  Or if you want, you could DIY.  I did this for my wedding and the cost for my centerpieces, aisle decor, bouquets (bridal, MOH, 1 BM, 2 nosegays) and 2 altar arrangements for $400 ($320 for just the flowers).  I used peony roses, spray roses, alstroemeria, hypericum berries and asters.

I dunno where you live but I found wooden bouqets (smaller ones ) for 10$ a piece . And they’re really pretty. They were at a flea market type place. When I emailed them they offered me different prices for wedding which was for bigger bouqets ( 20 for maids , and 30 for me) but I liked the small ones better , plus i’m on a reeaaallllyy tight budget. Before that I was going to make my own for really cheap. you can make your own from paper, fabric, whatever. And you can find tons of how to videos on youtube. Or you can find hair pins made of fabric flowers for really cheap and add a stem to them. Or get fake flowers from a dollarstore or walmart or something. Tons of cheap options.
