It’s possible, but keep in mind diamonds will refect back whatever color is around. Maybe you are reflecting back blue sky. Mine has no fluor, but does look blueish outside on a clear day. Gorgeous either way!

Yes, if the fluorescence is med-strong and it’s a sunny (or, really, high UV) day.

Otherwise the blue glow will be more subtle or it will be more like a “haziness” and not particularly blue at all.

If you want to see it go as blue and glowy and it can possibly get, point a “black light” (UV light) at it in a dark room! (don’t wear it when you do this… UV isn’t good for our skin, especially in concentrated doses).

Is that a diamond or a moissanite?

Yes, normal. Most diamonds don’t fluoresce but a significant minority do. When they do, blue is the color they tend to fluoresce.

@BlondeMissMolly:  blue fluorescence isn’t characteristic of moissanite…it usually fluoresces yellow/green. Asha might do it though (due to the diamond coating).

@aquaelle:  is that a diamond or an asha?

@joya_aspera:  right, but in the second picture the faceting kind of looked like moissanite to me, so that’s why I was curious

@aquaelle:  I see…just curious, does your Asha fluoresce?
