Of course I had to Google this while I was waiting for an answer, and most sites don't mention it as a symptom. The only one I could find was here:
"Increasing progesterone levels (during the first trimester) may cause flushed cheeks and hot flashes."
Anyone actually experience it as a symptom?
That is one I have never heard of. I really didn't have any symptoms before my BFP though, and my only first trimester symptoms were breast tenderness, exhaustion, and crazy morning sickness.
Honestly, the time I got my BFP was the time I wouldn't have tested other than for prep for my HSG. I had no symptoms at all, and had no real hope that it would happen that cycle.
I agree that it's probably an indication of increased progesterone rather than hcg. So it probably means you had a strong ovulation with good luteal support, which could very well lead to a bfp! Good luck!
Thanks, girls! As usual the only answer is wait and see! :) at least i get my blood test results back tomorrow to see if i ovulated or not! :)
Ooooh - that would be awesome, lovely - I am hoping this symptom pans into something positive for you !!!!

Hey girls, the last day or so my face has been super flushed and warm. My cheeks are bright red, and that's totally not typical for me. I'm 7/8 DPO. Anyone know if this could be a pregnancy symptom? Other ideas of what could be causing this?
