Hey girls, the last day or so my face has been super flushed and warm. My cheeks are bright red, and that's totally not typical for me. I'm 7/8 DPO. Anyone know if this could be a pregnancy symptom? Other ideas of what could be causing this?

Of course I had to Google this while I was waiting for an answer, and most sites don't mention it as a symptom. The only one I could find was here

"Increasing progesterone levels (during the first trimester) may cause flushed cheeks and hot flashes."

Anyone actually experience it as a symptom?

That is one I have never heard of. I really didn't have any symptoms before my BFP though, and my only first trimester symptoms were breast tenderness, exhaustion, and crazy morning sickness.

Honestly, the time I got my BFP was the time I wouldn't have tested other than for prep for my HSG. I had no symptoms at all, and had no real hope that it would happen that cycle.

I agree that it's probably an indication of increased progesterone rather than hcg.  So it probably means you had a strong ovulation with good luteal support, which could very well lead to a bfp! Good luck!
