I don't think that should be an issue. I think it might look nice, because they'll be in the same color, but different shades. What color is your mom wearing?
I think it depends on what your mom is wearing. Traditionally, the FMIL chooses her attire after your mom does. This is a loose-and-fast rule, but I'd probably make sure it compliments what your mom will be wearing! Or make sure your mom wasn't planning on wearing the same color!
Wow...weird. This is the same situtation as mine. I have dark purple bridesmaid dresses and my FMIL suggested that she would find herself a lavander dress. Any suggestions on MOB dress colors? No one has purchases dresses yet,... but I dont know what color to push them toward.
I think it will look nice. My MIL wore a pink and black suit. My girls wore auqa. My mom wore deep purple. Our colors were aqua and purple.
I don't think it will be a problem at all. It's unlikely that you'll have any pictures with all your bridesmaids and your MIL - so even if she's wearing mustard yellow -it won't matter!
I agree with the pps. I think the color itself is fine. The only problem that could arise is if that was the color the MOB was going to wear.

My bridesmaids are wearing dark purple. My FMIL just bought her dress, it's a light violet color. Does anyone that this is a a problem? Thoughts? Opinions?
