ACK! Were they home? How long do you think they have until they figure it out?

Aw man, I would text them before they get home.  Not to worry though, our neighbours did the same thing to us last summer and the lawn was back to normal pretty quickly.

In the first year DH and I were dating I sat down hard in one of his parents’ plastic Muskoka chairs and make a huge crack in it.  I think that was a couple months after DH broke two of my dad’s golf clubs.

Not that long after me and FI started dating, I broke the toilet paper holder in his parents’ downstairs bathroom. I’m a terrible person and I just put it back to where it would stay and the next person who touched it would think they broke it.

@FutureMrsT1221:  Haha. Yeah, and for the longest time I was convinced his dad didn’t like me so I was like I’m not gonna let him know I just broke some shit in his house, then he reeeeally won’t like me.

You owned up to what happened, it was an accident.  End of story.  If they freak out about it, it’s a little ridiculous!  I’m sure it’ll blow over and there’s no harm done.

Very early on in my relationship with my now DH, I was visiting his family for the weekend and had to borrow my MIL’s hair dryer. She had had this hair dryer for like 15 years and of course – OF COURSE – it caught on fire and broke while I was drying my hair.

Hahaha, when I went to leave that weekend my FIL whipped the broken hair dryer out and offered it to me as a ‘prize to mount on the wall – after killing the oldest hair dryer in the country’ ugggh. But they never talk about it now! Haha.

@FutureMrsT1221:  Aw I’m sure they won’t care. It’s good that you told them!

@FutureMrsT1221:  I have really thick hair..I’ve killed a lot of hair dryers in my day. Haha.

You’ll be okay! They’ll likely tease you about it, but I don’t think they’ll be too mad, especially because you apologized in advance! Lawns recover from those tire tracks.
