IMO, it'd be nice for the GM to match the BM's, but let the FOG & FOB tie in (lol!) with what the mom's are each wearing.
i don't think they need to match either. most of the time the fathers wear black tuxes that coordinate with the mothers. my dad wore black tie and cummerbund, my FIL wore a silver/black vest and black tie. you could always get them flowers in that color if you want some coordination. it might look weird if you have a big picture and they're all dressed the same.

I don't think they have to, but it may help in the decision making process and keep it a lot more simpler.
The less the father's have to fuss and muss with who wears what, the easier it'll be to just stay consistant and select the styles that everyone should wear beforehand. Unless you're wanting to do something unique for them.

jcrew has been AMAZING for outfitting the wedding party. they assign you a coordinator and Ashley has been super responsive. she has even helped me get discounts when our dresses went on sale right after we bought them. can't be a bridesmaids dress for $89 that the girls will actually wear again!
So i bought the 2 extra ties for the fathers. If we decide to have them match the mothers instead, then i'll use the fabric from the ties around my bouquet or something.

Hi ladies!
So i just scored fabulous ties for our groomsman on sale and then discounted again that matches our bridesmaids dresses. but should the father of the bride and the father of the groom ALSO wear these same ties?? I'm scared their going to sell out so any insight on this question soon would be fantastic!
