- Wedding: December 2013
The church provides tables & chairs. As it is a very formal church I assumed they had real chairs. I was wrong. The wedding details are below, overall question is how to fix the chairs to be nicer, some are folding chairs, some are normal chairs, mixing and matching is fine but I only have 50$ and need at least 65 chairs.
Theme: A grimm fairytale 60 guests including the vendors (all friends as this is largely a DIY wedding for 3000.) The food is going to be serve yourself buffet.
Grand and Beautiful old church. Somewhere between elegant barn and classic cathedral. Beautiful celling over 12 ft tall with exposed wood work crossing over itself and an entire wall as a stain glass window red carpeting and traditional smaller windows all over.
The hall of the church is a rectangular room with little to no details to it solid white, we have white folding tables and metal folding chairs. I am putting plastic covers over the tables but then covering them in a sheer tulle like fabric to make it a bit nicer looking.
I don’t know what to do with the chairs to make them nicer, I know that the plastic would be an issue for most people but it is what my family always does and same goes for my husbands family, thats all were having at the wedding (yeah we have 60 people in just family through cousins no second cousins and no extended family past our aunts and uncles.)
