What format are you trying to upload? I usually have the best luck with jpeg files 🙂

If you’ve got a word doc or pdf or something, you can take a screen shot of the file and then save that as a jpeg to upload – it’s a little bit of work but really helpful for showing off what you’re working on!

It depends on what look you’re going for – the first was more casual while the second and fourth were more formal. You might want to play around with size and spacing to make sure everything is readable. One place that might help was was Papyrus – there’s one at Polaris, I think. I didn’t have an appointment but I walked in and the lady there (not in Columbus) was really helpful and even though I didn’t wind up ordering there I used some tips. Their invites are beautiful and most use Crane paper, so they were way out of my budget, but it was like a free consultation with a professional and I made sure to buy some of their beautiful cards before I left.

I’d generally advise against using two different scripts for the body and names, as it tends to look a bit off (it’s hard to find two scripts that naturally flow together) and there isn’t much contrast. I’d suggest switching to a serif (more traditional) or sans serif (more modern) for the body text, depending on the look you’re going for.

Here’s a few pairings that I think would work – these are mostly default fonts. Copperplate, Constantia, Garamond and Blair.

If you like the look of what @studio.ariadne: posted, but not those specific fonts, you can also check out DaFont’s sections of Serif and SanSerif fonts 🙂
