Hi Skobie-
First- i don't think you need a textbook. All that matters is that it looks good to YOUR eye! :)
Mrs Lovebug used Feel + Typewriter: http://www.weddingbee.com/2008/02/27/our-yummy-invitations-are-here/
I like Chopin or Copperplate Light.
(And these are all serif fonts!)
How about Typo Slab Serif or Nadia?

Good luck!
I'm using champagne & limosines with Monterey as my script....its fairly similar to Feel (but free!) so I thought I'd share.

Also Knockout or Whitney would work well.
Thanks all!! You rock. :) Can't wait to download these all now!
Incidentally I did have it paired with a typewriter font originally... was worried it would look too crime-scene-esque as some of the paper I'll be using is recycled... if you are curious I'm hoping to use the Gmund Savanna Limba paper as the "front page" ( http://www.gmund.com/products/savanna# ) - it's that textured wood-grained paper, and then to save money the other pages will be the recycled paper. (I think... we will see how it all unfolds once I get the fonts sorted).
I don't know if you're still looking for a font, but I also used Feel Script for my invites and paired it with Centabel Book! My (biased) opinion is that it looks great :)

Hi guys,
Can anyone recommend a good font to pair with the "Feel Script' font for invites? (http://www.veer.com/ideas/feelscript/ )
Something more plain and non-scripty... the vibe of our wedding is whimsical, foresty, literature, fun, not overly formal, but not backyard-casual either.
I've been trying everything and can't seem to find a perfect match! Even if anyone can suggest whether I should be using a sans serif font versus a serif font (i.e. which would look better?), that will help me narrow down the search. I've never been formally trained in design, have just been teaching myself over the past 5 years or so, so I don't have a "textbook" to go back to for little things like this!
Thanks!
