I see the post about which personalities u just cant stand watching. As I read through the posts from bees,I had a thought.Which personalities food would you actually make at home???
I hardly watch this channel, but when I did,it seemed like whatever they were making, had ingredients Ive never even heard of or could never get around here.Or would be really expensive to make.
So Im curious.Which personality has recipes u can easily make at home?

I’m not sure if this is what you mean, but Hubby and I actually put a poached egg on our burgers last night. We see this trick EVERYWHERE and you know what? He loved it, lol!

Ina Garten, aka Barefoot Contessa, has AWESOME recipes that the guy and I make all the time. We have a couple of her cookbooks. The recipes are easy to follow, ingredients can normally be found at my regular grocery, and the results are simply scrumpcious!

Love it! As much as they both drive me a little crazy: Giada and Rachel Ray recipes I make A LOT at home. Also, she isn’t a Food TV personality but I make a lot of recipes from the Pioneer Woman (although, she does go on tv so does that count?). I love to cook and try out new recipes and I love when I can see the recipes being made on tv!

I make Giada and Ina Garton recipes a lot (especially Giada – we love pasta!). I have a few of their cookooks. Also, I browse for recipes often on foodnetwork.com, so I’ve made a few recipes from several chefs – Alton, Emeril, Bobby, etc.

I like Giada and Darling Husband makes Guy Fieri’s stuff all of the time

This is my favorite Ina recipe:
It’s orzo pasta with roasted shrimp, lemon, lots of chopped green herbs, and feta cheese. I add grape tomatoes though it’s not in the recipe. It’s so easy. I’ve made this for lunch, dinner, showers, and potlucks and it gets raves every time.
I really agree with her cooking philosophy that if you use good, fresh ingredients you don’t have to do much to them to make something delicious.

I use Ina and Giada a lot. They are simple and delicious.
I too make the orzo pasta salad quite frequently in the summer time. It’s always a party hit.

@TheMrs2013: Pioneer Woman is getting her own show!!! it starts 8/27 on food network!!!
I also make alot of Rachael, Giada and Ina recipes. But i’ve made a few Paula Deen desserts, and used some of Sandra Lee’s things are easy. She drives me a little nuts ….

Lisa Lillien, aka Hungry Girl! She’s on TV but I just get her daily emails and her recipes are FABULOUS! She has low-calorie substitutes for everything and she gives you tips for the supermarket and chain restaurants, too. If you want to lose weight her emails are like your golden ticket. Granted, I wouldn’t eat her recipes all the time because I prefer to use mostly fresh, simple ingredients (she uses a lot of semi-prepared products such as egg beaters), but when you have a hankering for something terribly unhealthy her recipes are a great way to trick yourself. Also, her omelette-in-a-mug is a weekend staple for me AND my FI!
