- Wedding: September 2013
My Fiance and I are having 3-4 interactive stations at our upcoming wedding reception. But what we cannot decide on is the number of tables to have. We have a mixed bag of people that will be coming to the wedding so some people will want to sit (I know I will while I eat!) while others may not. Our reception site said that generally they only use enough seats to seat 65% of the guests. I believe she mentioned that it would prevent the guests from dancing on the dance floor. The reason we are having stations is because its a great way to get people talking with each other.
I think we should have seating for everyone, but no assigned seating or even a head table.
What do you guys think? Have enough seats for only a percentage of the guests or for everyone? We are expecting approx. 250 people.
