check out the blog “a los angeles love” – Becca is having a food truck for her wedding.

Additionally, another blogger “bowie bride” had a truck for hers as well.

@BirdofaFeather: where did you have it? We were thinking of the same thing, but can’t figure out a place for the taco guys to come to. Definitely not my house the night before the wedding!!

@BirdofaFeather:  Hi BirdofaFeather,

I saw your post about having a taco truck for your wedding rehearsal dinner.  Was it great?  Could you give me some idea of what your event was like, and do you you have any recommendations and “do’s and don’t’s” for this bride-to-be?

Thanks!

Love this idea.

I would do it at the rehearsal dinner.

we found a local guy who cooked everything to order, so it wasn’t a full truck. i didn’t set it up, my inlaws did. it was at the the venue where we got married, which was a house, so he had room to set up in the patio. they decorated it like a fiesta with blankets from mexico, flags, etc. don’t really have any other advice as it was a really casual rehearsal dinner and we were all okay with that!

@Wine-Oh:  That was my reception plan! But the truck couldn’t get over the mountain/summit, so we had to forgo it. Still a little bummed, I think it’s a really fun idea. And food trucks usually make killer food!!

A collection of numerous food trucks in the bay area. You can work with them to provide two or more trucks to your locations. They are flexible and affordable. maybe itll work, maybe not, but definitely worth checking out!
