Sounds quite reasonable to me. Think about all the material it takes to make one.

You can get cheaper ones that are still quality at places like Marshalls and TJ Max.

Becareful of paying too little, they can be really cheaply made and scratchy.

All the nice looking ones are exp;ensive, but the plain/ugly ones are cheaper. I think they weave a single gold thread in there and didn’t bother to tell us!

That sounds like a great deal to me, I’ve paid several hundred in the past.  Bedding is expensive!

$160 is pretty reasonable. We spent upwards of $400 on our old bet set (though that also included all the bells and whistles). The comforter alone was almost $300. Quality isn’t cheap.

Seems very reasonable to me. My duvet cover alone was $230, comforter was much more than that.

@hecallsmelove:  That is REDICULOUS! Is it the set or just the comforter, if its the latter I’d move on to something else! :/

That doesnt sound to bad depending on the type of comforter it is. I’ve seen nice down ones upwards of 800+.  What I think is rediculous is duvet covers!  It’s basically two sheets and it easily as a price tag of $180+.

Yeah. It is JUST a blanket. I think our entire sheet set with pillows and comforters and a bed skirt was like $100. Yeah, it isn’t the most fancy ever but it keeps us covered.

They are so much are expensive than I would expect.

Could you wait until a time of the year where there are lots of white sales? Then you could get a higher quality one for a lot less.

@hecallsmelove:  I paid around that for our set too, Also being in TX, I don’t even use it in the summer, it gets put away in a closet until colder weather. So I paid for a nice set just to use it a couple months of the year. LOL

Oy….I wish the one I wanted was only $160.  I’d snag that up in a heartbeat!  I have my eye on one at Anthropologie, but alas, but wallet doesn’t like the price.  🙁
